Luis Allen has extensive experience in procurement, management, and administrative duties across various sectors. Currently serving as a Procurement Officer and previously as an Administrative Assistant at CATIE since March 2015, Luis Allen manages logistics for international students and oversees agreements and payments. From June 2001 to July 2012, Luis Allen was the Manager at Hotel Interamericano, responsible for daily operations, financial management, and customer relations, achieving significant community engagement regarding environmental issues. Prior experience includes serving as Office Manager at Servicio Administrativo Canada-Costa Rica from November 1996 to December 2000, where Luis Allen oversaw administrative and financial tasks and staff performance. Academically, Luis Allen holds a Master in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Universidad Interamericana de Costa Rica and a BBA in Economics from Harding University.
