Dr. Uzma Syed serves as the Chief of Infectious Diseases at Catholic Health and holds multiple leadership roles, including Board Member at Sepsis Alliance and Core Group Member at Faiths4Vaccines. Dr. Syed is the Chair of the COVID-19 Task Force and directs the Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Syed is the Founder and President of Align Us. Dr. Syed earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England between 2001 and 2005 and completed undergraduate studies at Syracuse University from 1997 to 2000.
