Karen Sullivan is an experienced advocate in immigration law, currently serving as the Director of Advocacy at the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) since November 2017, where responsibilities include federal immigration advocacy and liaison for over 300 affiliated legal organizations. Prior to this role, Karen worked as a freelance legal writer specializing in immigration from September 2017 to December 2022 and held volunteer positions at the Norwegian Refugee Council and HIAS in 2017. Karen's earlier experience includes roles as an Associate Attorney at Blessinger Legal PLLC and The Law Offices of Manuel Rivera, and as an Immigration Attorney at Green & Spiegel. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from American University.
