Amy Zawaideh is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany since August 2020. Prior to this role, Zawaideh served as a Therapist specializing in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Children's Advocacy Center of Bastrop, Inc from May 2019 to August 2020. Zawaideh's experience includes a position as a Digital Advocate at loveisrespect, The National Domestic Violence Hotline from November 2014 to November 2018, and as a City Coordinator/Fundraiser for Greenpeace from August 2008 to November 2010. Zawaideh holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta, a Master's degree in Professional Counseling, and a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas State University. Additional education includes studies in Functional Pottery at The Gold Coast Art School in Southport, Queensland.
