Emery has had a passion for storytelling from a young age. What started with illustrating quickly moved to writing, and landed with wanting to learn how to help others express their stories. After a couple of marketing internships and working at a PR firm for a year, she took an interest in branding as she believes it’s an essential component of storytelling. She’s excited to learn more about the naming and branding industry in her new role at Catchword.

Born and raised in Oakland, Emery earned her BA in Global Liberal Studies from New York University.
