Serkan Özal is an accomplished technology professional currently serving as an Architect at Catchpoint since April 2023 and as an Advisory Board member for Cloud at DevNetwork since March 2022. Prior experience includes co-founding and holding CTO and CEO roles at Thundra from September 2018 until its acquisition by Catchpoint in April 2023, and managing engineering teams at OpsGenie prior to its acquisition by Atlassian. Serkan has a robust background in software engineering, with previous positions at MilSOFT Yazılım Teknolojileri A.Ş., Hazelcast, and ZeroTurnaround, among others. Serkan's educational qualifications include ongoing doctoral studies at Middle East Technical University, a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the same institution, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Hacettepe University.
