Richard (Rickie) Koo is a Principal at DNX Ventures since August 2018, specializing in investments in retail, e-commerce, logistics, marketplaces, and fintech companies. Noteworthy investments include Switstack, Butlr, CRISP, and Prime Roots among others. Koo also serves as an Investor and Board Observer for Catch since July 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte from May 2012 to May 2016, an Equity Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley in 2011, and a Legislative Intern at the Office of the Prime Minister of Japan in 2010. Koo holds an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, a Master's Degree in International Studies from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a focus on International Economics from Georgetown University. Education also includes a High School Diploma from The American School in Japan.
