Alec Simpson is a seasoned sports analyst currently serving as California’s Scouting Director for Catapult Sports since April 2021. In this role, Alec analyzes high school football prospects across California for a comprehensive database utilized by over 250 college football programs nationwide. Prior to this position, Alec worked for Rivals.com from January 2019 to April 2021, where responsibilities included covering USC, Rutgers, UCLA, and Arizona high school football recruiting, providing detailed film analyses and recruitment insights. Additionally, Alec gained experience as a Production Support and On-Camera Interviewer for Vault Media Group during the 2019 NFL Draft and held roles as a Data Entry Specialist at Fertility and Surgical Associates of California and a front desk staff member at the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles. Alec pursued education at Arizona State University from 2018 to 2020 and at the University of Nevada, Reno, from 2016 to 2017.
