Ian Fitt began their work experience in 1992 as a Senior Underwriting Officer at NAC Reinsurance Corporation. Ian then worked at Western Re/Managers Insurance Services from 1998 to 2013, where they held the positions of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. In 2013, Fitt became the President of the Earthquake Division at Catalytic Risk Managers & Insurance Agency, LLC. Ian also served as the Vice Chairman of Catalytic Holdings, LLC during that time.

Ian Fitt completed their education in Journalism with a focus on Advertising/Marketing at The University of Kansas from 1985 to 1989.
