Dennis Jacobsen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in medical science liaison roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2021, and as a Sr MSL at Catalyst Biosciences, Dennis has been actively involved in clinical trial support, thought leader identification, and MSL training. Previous positions include Regional Director at Sanofi Genzyme and Senior Medical Science Liaison at Genzyme, where responsibilities encompassed thought leader management and internal medical planning. Earlier experience as a Medical Liaison at Schering-Plough and Regional Medical Liaison at sanofi further solidified expertise in thought leader development. Dennis began a career in research as a Scientist at the University of Kansas, contributing to the design of a calorimeter and engaging in grant writing and publications. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Physiology from the University of Minnesota.
