Adrian Johnston MBE is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chair of the Community Foundation Northern Ireland and Head of Open Innovation & Director of Strategic Partnerships at Catalyst, Adrian also holds a position as a Board Trustee for the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland. Previous roles include Consortium Project Lead for SmartNano NI and Director of Operations at Digital Catapult NI. With a strong background in analytics as a Managing Principal Engineer at Seagate Technology, Adrian has contributed significantly to the International Fund for Ireland as Chair and has served on boards including Enterprise Equity Financial Investments and Londonderry YMCA. Adrian holds a PhD in Informatics and a BEng (Hons) in Electronics and Computing from Ulster University.
