Nick Lockwood, PhD has extensive work experience in data analytics and academia. Nick started their career as a Manuscript Coordinator for Information Systems Management Journal in 2006 and later served as a Researcher for Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Nick then became an Assistant Professor at Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2011 to 2014. Following this, they joined Catalina USA as a Sr. Director of Brand Marketing Analytics before being promoted to Executive Director of Data Science. Nick also held the role of Principal Data Scientist and currently serves as the VP of Data & Analytics. In addition, they worked as a Managing Editor for MIS Quarterly Executive Journal and an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Hawai‘i - Shidler College of Business.
Nick Lockwood, PhD, has an extensive education history. Nick obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2004. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Information Systems at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2005 to 2006. Nick further pursued higher education at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they earned their PhD in Information Systems and Entrepreneurship from 2006 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Nick has also obtained several certifications in various aspects of artificial intelligence, deep learning, and machine learning from LinkedIn and Coursera between 2019 and 2023.
