Gerrit van Hartogh has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Gerrit is currently the Director of Sales, SaaS SI North America at CAST since August 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing at HeartCloud, Inc. from January 2021 to August 2022. Gerrit also worked as the Director of Client Relations at Anamo Inc. from July 2019 to January 2021, and at Global Bridge InfoTech Inc. from March 2015 to July 2019. Before that, they were an Engagement Manager at Wipro from July 2014 to March 2015. At the beginning of their career, they worked as a Team Leader at Sales & Marketing Group Inc. from February 2011 to May 2013.

Gerrit van Hartogh completed their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government at the University of Pittsburgh from 2006 to 2010. Gerrit then pursued a Masters of Public and International Affairs with a focus on International Political Economy at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business from 2012 to 2014.
