Mark went on to attend the University of California, Davis - School of Medicine from 1987 to 1991, where they earned their MD degree in the field of Medicine. Afterward, from 1992 to 1995, Mark Packer completed their residency in Ophthalmology at the Boston University School of Medicine. In addition to their medical education, they also completed a one-year residency in Internal Medicine from 1991 to 1992 at the University of California, San Francisco, Mt. Zion Medical Center.
