Chris Nicol is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in developing collaborative solutions and innovative educational technologies. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has been involved in the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and related devices. Previous roles include firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, where Chris created firmware and diagnostic tools, and electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design for educational devices. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and worked as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, specializing in control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
