Beth Barker has had a diverse work experience. Beth started their career at Oregon State University in 1999 as the Director of Business Affairs, where they worked until 2007. Following that, they worked at their own company, Beth Barker, CPA, as the Principal from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare as the CFO. So far, there is no end date for their role at Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare.

Beth Barker attended the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University from 1979 to 1980, where they obtained a Master of Education (Ed.M) degree in the field of Education. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology at the College of St. Scholastica from 1970 to 1972.
