Omkar Aphale is an Associate at Cascadia Consulting Group. Omkar was previously a Research Associate at the same company from February 2016 to May 2016. Prior to that, they were a Lecturer at Stony Brook University from May 2016 to December 2016. Omkar was also a Research Assistant at Stony Brook University from January 2009 to December 2015, and a Teaching Assistant from August 2007 to December 2008.

Omkar Aphale completed their undergraduate degree at University of Mumbai in Botany (Major) Biotechnology (Minor). They then attended Stony Brook University for their MS in Environmental and Waste Management. Afterwards, they went to Savitribai Phule Pune University for their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Enviornmental Sciences. Finally, they attended State University of New York at Stony Brook for their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Systems.
