Seamus Byrne is the Founder and Head of Content at Byteside, a digital content production studio established in November 2018. Byrne also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Cascade Studios since March 2019, providing strategic guidance on development and competitive opportunities. A former Freelance Journalist for The Australian Financial Review from July 2017 to July 2021, Byrne contributed regularly to the technology section and various other media outlets. Additional roles include Australian Correspondent for The Esports Observer (2018-2020), Senior Content Specialist at Storyation (2019-2020), and Managing Editor for both InnovationAus.com and ScienceAlert Pty Ltd. Prior experience includes leadership positions at CBS Interactive (2011-2017) and Seven Network Limited (2009-2013), with an academic background in Media and Communications from UNSW.
