Beena Thomas, Ph.D., is a highly experienced clinical psychologist currently serving as the Manager of Rural Consultation Services and Program Lead for Professional Development and Education at CASA Mental Health since March 2023. Prior to this role, Beena held various positions at Alberta Health Services, including Psychologist II since December 2021, and worked as a Registered Psychologist at Nexus Psychology since December 2016. Beena's extensive background includes serving as a Mental Health Consultant and Clinical Lead for the Psychoeducational Assessment and Consultation Team at CASA Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health from July 2014 to January 2022. Beena also completed a psychology internship at Emory University School of Medicine, where a broad range of clinical training was acquired, and has previous experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Idaho State University. Beena earned a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Idaho State University.
