Vanessa E. Rubio is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, with previous experience as an intern at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. Vanessa E. obtained a PhD in Environmental Engineering and Biological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame after completing their undergraduate studies at Universidad de Los Andes.
