Ozan Makinaci is an experienced leader in product management and technology with a strong background in the automotive and software industries. Currently serving as Director of Special Projects at Carvana since March 2022, Makinaci drives the digitization of vehicle ownership, leading operational and product management teams while achieving significant cost savings through innovative technology solutions. Previously, Makinaci held key leadership roles at TrueCar, Inc., including VP of Product Management, where involvement in the TrueCar+ initiative and core payment integration was pivotal. Prior experience includes VP of Product & Technology at DealerScience, VP of Sales & Operations and Executive Director of Client Services at Sight Commerce, and various roles at Shortcuts Software, Dimension Data, and Corpnet. Makinaci holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from Queensland University of Technology.
