Roel van Os has extensive experience in software engineering and architecture, currently serving as a Software Architect at Carthago ICT since September 2015 and a Senior Software Engineer at Wolters Kluwer since March 2021. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer for Politie Nederland from September 2019 to February 2021, contributing to the development of the Basisvoorziening Handhaving incident registration system, and as a Senior Developer at Justitiële Informatiedienst from September 2015 to August 2019, enhancing in-house software for information exchange. Other positions held include Developer XML and CMS at Eluxis, Software Engineer at Adwords Robot, and Co-owner/Software Engineer at Humanitech, where responsibilities encompassed software development and system administration. Roel van Os holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Twente, earned between 1999 and 2007.
