Andrew Hatch has extensive work experience in the field of research and diagnostics. Andrew'smost recent position was as the Director of Research at Carterra, a role they started in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at bioMérieux as the Associate Director of Molecular Systems (Research) from March 2020 to March 2023. Before that, they were a Senior Scientist at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC from July 2015 to March 2023. Andrew also worked at Arizona State University as an Associate Research Scientist from October 2011 to July 2015. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California at Irvine from 2006 to 2011. Andrew Hatch completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah from 2002 to 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering at UC Irvine from 2006 to 2007. Lastly, they obtained their highest level of education, a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering, from UC Irvine between 2007 and 2011.
