Dany D. is an experienced professional in financial valuations and data science, currently serving as a Valuations Technical Manager at Carta since February 2019, co-leading automation efforts using machine learning and data science algorithms, and performing over 1,000 private equity valuations. Dany has also invested in Sweater since February 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, focusing on financial planning and coaching, and serving as the first data scientist at Property Reserve, Inc., where Dany developed asset allocation and portfolio optimization algorithms. Dany's educational background includes a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Financial Mathematics and Statistics from Sapienza Università di Roma.
