Ben Hacker Jr has a diverse work experience in the field of technical support and systems administration. Ben began their career in 1996 as a PKI Lab Technical Support at Computer Sciences Corporation, where they provided on-site hardware and software support to desktop users and conducted PKI technology demonstrations. Ben then worked as a Contracted PKI 2nd level support analyst at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, where they provided second-tier support for PKI technology. Ben also worked as a Contracted SWIFT Cust. Support Analyst at SWIFT, supporting clients with SWIFT software installation, daily operations, and connectivity. Ben later joined NC4 as a Contracted ESP Group Operations Engineer, and then Exelis Inc. as a Contracted Systems Administrator, providing IT support services. Most recently, Ben worked at Fidelis Cybersecurity as a Technical Support Engineer and is currently employed at Carson & SAINT Corporation in the same role.

Ben Hacker Jr obtained a Certificate of completion in Solaris Systems Administration I from UnixED.com in 2013. In 2003, they attended O'Reilly School of Technology/Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, specializing in Unix/Linux Systems Administration. Additionally, they attended Military & Community College from 1979 to 1986, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
