Ghassan Tranesh, MD, FCAP, is a surgical pathologist and cytopathologist currently affiliated with Carondelet Health Network since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Arizona and Medical Director of Cytopathology at Banner Health from July 2017 to December 2021. Ghassan Tranesh completed cytopathology and surgical pathology fellowships at UC San Diego and Mayo Clinic Pathology, respectively, and served as Chief Resident at St. John Providence from July 2011 to June 2015. Educational background includes graduate studies in Molecular Pathology at The Ohio State University and residency in Anatomic Pathology at the National Cancer Institute, culminating in a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences.
