Uzma Bogwani is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Academics and Head of Middle School at The Pike School since July 2021. Prior to this role, Uzma held the position of Lower School Assistant Principal at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools from July 2018 to July 2021. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Teaching and Learning and PYP Coordinator at Washington International School from August 2017 to July 2018, and as a Teacher at Sheridan School from August 2011 to August 2016. Uzma began a professional career as a Fellow at the Center for Inspired Teaching from June 2010 to September 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on School Leadership from The George Washington University, and a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
