Stefan Deucker is an experienced executive in the maritime and engineering sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President for Fleet Governance, Decarbonisation, and Asset Management at Carnival Maritime GmbH since August 2019. Previous roles include Vice President positions at the same company, as well as impactful leadership as Area Manager at DNV GL and Managing Director at FutureShip GmbH. Stefan's extensive background includes positions at Germanischer Lloyd SE, Blohm+Voss, ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems, and Nordseewerke GmbH. Stefan began a professional career in management consulting with McKinsey & Company and holds a Master of Science in Ocean Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Dipl.-Ing. in Naval Architecture from Hamburg University of Technology.
