Thomas Healy is the Founder and CEO of Hyliion, a company dedicated to developing innovative solutions for clean and flexible electricity production through distributed power generators. Since April 2015, Thomas has led Hyliion in addressing the evolving energy economy. In addition, Thomas serves as a Trustee on the Board of Carnegie Mellon University since May 2023, contributing to the university's strategic direction and commitment to academic excellence. Prior to these roles, Thomas founded HeadSmart Labs to create products aimed at preventing head injuries in impact sports and Promos On Campus, a promotional products company for colleges. Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, along with a high school diploma from Thayer Academy.
