Tony DiGiorgio is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Director of Information Technology and Security at the Carnegie Institution for Science since November 2016, previously holding the role of Associate Director of Information Technology. Prior to this, Tony DiGiorgio worked at Howard Hughes Medical Institute from June 2011 to November 2016 as the Manager of Technology Support, overseeing IT Technology Support and AV Support teams. Earlier in Tony DiGiorgio's career, the role of Technology Education Teacher and Network Administrator was held at Frederick County Public Schools from 1997 to 2000. Academically, Tony DiGiorgio earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and a Certificate of Professional Development in Leadership from The Wharton School.
