Francesca Miozzi is a skilled researcher with extensive experience in earth science and geology. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Carnegie Institution for Science since November 2020, Francesca previously held a similar position at Università degli Studi di Milano from April 2020 to November 2020. Francesca's doctoral studies at the IMPMC-Institut de minéralogie, de physique des matériaux et de cosmochimie-UPMC involved an experimental investigation of the Fe-Si-C system related to carbon-rich exoplanets. Additional research experience includes being an invited student at IPM - Institute for planetary materials in Okayama University and serving as Ricercatrice at Università degli Studi di Milano. Francesca holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Earth Science/Geology and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geology, both from Università degli Studi di Milano.
