Sherrese Clarke Soares is a Trustee at Carnegie Hall and HarbourView Equity. Sherrese has also served as Treasurer, National Board Member, and Chair of the Finance Committee at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. From November 2019 to January 2021, they were the Founder, CEO, and Board Director of Tempo Music.
Sherrese has been working in the finance and music industries for over 20 years. Sherrese started their career at Morgan Stanley, where they worked on the strategic structuring of a special purpose acquisition platform. Sherrese then went on to lead the founding and leadership of Tempo Music, a venture that acquires music royalties and copyright. Under their guidance, the company has scaled to 10 professionals and invested in 12 assets.
Sherrese is an expert at building cultures and scaling cross-functional platforms. Sherrese is also an industry leader who has struck powerful strategic partnerships with key industry players.
Sherrese Clarke Soares received their MBA from Harvard Business School and their BS in Finance from Georgetown University. Sherrese is a TOIGO Foundation Fellow.
