Joanna Massey is a seasoned professional in arts education and program development, currently serving as the Director of Learning & Engagement and Director of School Programs at Carnegie Hall since September 2012. Prior experience includes roles as the Senior Arts Program Specialist at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and various positions at Jazz at Lincoln Center, including Associate Director of Education. Joanna also worked as Education and Program Associate at Arts|Learning, Inc., and held the role of Research Associate at Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Joanna began a career in journalism as a Staff Writer for The Boston Globe and The Standard-Times. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Arts in Education from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Boston University.
