Saskia Brechenmacher serves as a Board Member at the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL) since June 2023. Additionally, Saskia has held various roles at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace since September 2016, including Senior Fellow and Non-resident Fellow in the Democracy, Conflict & Governance Program. Previous experience includes positions at The Fletcher School at Tufts University as a Research Assistant, Carnegie Europe as a Research Analyst, and a Junior Fellow position at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. In June 2012, Saskia was a Senior Fellow at Humanity in Action. Academically, Saskia is pursuing a PhD in Political Science and Government at the University of Cambridge, having previously earned a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Slavic Studies from Brown University. An International Baccalaureate was obtained from the United World College in Mostar.
