Jason Major is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full-stack development and team leadership, currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at CarMax since May 2018. In this role, Jason leads a team to create scalable and maintainable solutions for enhancing the customer car shopping experience, emphasizing industry best practices in DevOps and architecture. Previously, Jason contributed to the Edocs team at CarMax, focusing on digitizing paperwork processes. Earlier positions include Senior Java Developer and Java Developer at Shaw Systems, where Jason participated in the development of enterprise loan and collections systems, and a role as Java Programmer at Ironworks Consulting, supporting Choice Hotels' website.
