Ana Fernández Agudo

Ana Fernández Agudo is a researcher at the Instituto de Salud Carlos III, contributing to the European partnership for the assessment of risks from chemicals (PARC) focused on developing methodologies for risk assessment of chemical substances. Previous experience includes roles as a regulatory assistant at the European Chemicals Agency, supporting decision-making and dossier evaluations, as well as serving as a policy officer for chemicals at the European Environmental Bureau, where technical inputs for chemical regulations were provided. Ana has also held positions at the European Food Safety Authority and the INGESA - Ministerio de Sanidad, managing cross-sectoral science projects and leading safety assessment activities during the COVID-19 crisis. Ana holds advanced degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Pharmacy, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Risk Assessment.
