Jim Maffei has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Jim began their career in 1995 with Berkshire Hathaway, where they had nine years of progressive promotions in general management, international, sales, services, and marketing. Jim also held positions such as Senior Global Marketing Manager, International Sales and Marketing Manager, Senior Product Marketing Manager, and Product Development Manager.

After their time at Berkshire Hathaway, Maffei worked at Identity Group as a Senior Marketing Manager, overseeing sales, marketing, and P&L responsibilities. Jim successfully led the consumer and electronic goods division, increasing revenue by 15% and achieving an 18% increase in point-of-sale results. Additionally, they developed a higher-end sign product line, resulting in a 20% profit increase.

Maffei then joined Griffon Corporation as the Director of New Product Innovation & Marketing. Jim focused on business development and new startups, developing and executing business plans.
