The current leadership team at Carlisle City Council has a wealth of experience in various aspects of local government. The team is headed by Chair of the UK Healthy Cities Network Steering group, who also has experience as Head of Policy and Performance at South Ribble Borough Council. Other members of the team have worked in various positions at Wigan Council, as well as Director Corporate Services at Cumbria Constabulary and Metropolitan Police. The team also includes a Postdoctoral Fellow from University College London.
