Michael Bolle is the current Chairman at Zeiss. Michael has previously worked with SCHOTT, ZEISS Group, and Robert Bosch GmbH. From April 2014 to June 2021, they were a Member of Management Board, CTO&CDO at Robert Bosch GmbH. From March 2003 to July 2006, they were the Managing Director at Advanced Driver Information Technology. From August 2006 to December 2013, they were the Executive Vice President Engineering & Business Units at Robert Bosch Car Multimedia GmbH. From July 1999 to October 2002, they were the Executive Vice President Engineering & Founder at Systemonic AG, a fabless semiconductor company in the field of WLAN.

Michael Bolle studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at RWTH Aachen University, graduating with a Dipl.-Ing. degree. Michael then went on to earn a Dr.-Ing. degree in Signal Processing from Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
