Stefanie Schmitz is an experienced program manager currently leading the Study, Work, and Volunteer programs at Carl Duisberg Centren since February 2020, having previously worked in various roles including Program Coordinator for International School Programs. With a background in international freight forwarding and logistics services at Floragard Vertriebs GmbH für Gartenbau, Stefanie also has diverse experience in hospitality management and volunteering coordination from positions at Integrated Learning Experiences Central America and Arenas de Osa Lodge. Educationally, Stefanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Mesoamerican Studies from The University of Bonn and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Sustainable Development Cooperation at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.
