Usman Ashraf, Ph.D., currently serves as a Molecular Science Liaison at Caris Life Sciences since August 2023. Previously, Usman held the position of Senior Scientist at Miromatrix from September 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included leading a scientific team to develop novel experimental protocols for bioengineered organs and acting as a liaison for clinical and regulatory efforts. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from July 2020 to September 2021, Usman managed projects in pre-eclampsia, genetics, and immunology, contributing to significant funding and multiple publications. Usman earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Indiana University Bloomington.
