Eric Stawiski has extensive work experience in the field of bioinformatics. Eric most recently served as the Vice President of Bioinformatics at Caribou Biosciences since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at PACT Pharma from September 2020 to October 2022. From August 2018 to September 2020, Eric worked as the Vice President of Bioinformatics at MEDGENOME. Before that, they were the NGS Bioinformatics Group Leader and Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Genentech from January 2014 to August 2018. Eric also worked as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and Principal Bioinformatics Scientist at Monogram Biosciences from August 2005 to June 2010. Eric began their career as a Bioinformatics Scientist at InforMax in 2001 and later worked as a Bioinformatics Program Manager at Invitrogen from 2003 to 2005.

Eric Stawiski earned a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego, from 1992 to 1996.
