Antonio Munoz is a Senior Research Associate at Caribou Biosciences since June 2022, with prior experience as an Assistant Specialist III at the University of California, San Francisco from February 2016 to June 2022. During this time, Antonio focused on developing human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) lines from patient peripheral blood mononuclear cells and establishing an hiPSC Bank, while measuring the transcriptomic response of these lines to statins. Additionally, Antonio served as a Lecturer at California State University - East Bay from August 2021 to May 2022, and was a Peer Mentor at California State University, Chico in 2015, providing support to students in a laboratory setting. Educationally, Antonio holds a Master of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from California State University - East Bay (2019-2021) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from California State University, Chico (2011-2015).
