Shamar Ward, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of the Virgin Islands, where they focus on advancing education in technology. Previously, Shamar served as an Information Technology Officer at the Caribbean Development Bank, managing innovative technologies and information systems. They have also lectured and guided students in software engineering at the University of the West Indies: Cavehill and held various roles in technology and project management across different organizations. Shamar earned their PhD in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus.
