Rodney Payne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and examinations administration. Currently serving as Director of Technological Innovation and formerly as Senior Manager of Examinations Administration & Security at the Caribbean Examinations Council since February 2011, Rodney leads a team responsible for administering examinations across 19 Caribbean territories. Prior experience includes roles as Information Systems Manager at the Caribbean Examinations Council, where Rodney directed IT infrastructure and project management services, and as IT Specialist at CARICOM Secretariat, managing the IT component of the Change Management Office. Rodney's career began as a Network Administrator at the Caribbean Examinations Council and as a System Engineer at East Caribbean Group of Companies. Educational credentials include a Programme for Leadership Development from Harvard Business School Executive Education, a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of the West Indies.
