Gary Yu has extensive work experience in the architecture field. Gary started working at General Motors in 2000 as the Chief Architect for Enterprise Application Integration until 2012. After that, they held the position of Senior Enterprise & Solution Architect, focusing on Global Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience. This role lasted until 2019 when they joined Carhartt as the Principal Architect.

Gary Yu has a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Neural Networks and Computer Vision from Wayne State University. Gary also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university. Prior to their time at Wayne State University, Gary obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.
