Rafa Ramírez is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in software development and leadership. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at cargo.one since August 2021, Rafa has progressed from Senior Backend Engineer to a leadership role. Previous experience includes being the Head of Engineering at Peoople from July 2018 to July 2021 and serving as Development Lead and Full Stack Developer at In-House Intl. Design and Communications from September 2015 to July 2018. With a solid foundation in technologies such as Ruby on Rails, PHP, JavaScript, and React.js, Rafa has held various roles in web development and design since 2010, including ownership of RipCo Unlocks and positions at multiple companies. Rafa holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has completed additional education at Ironhack and Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
