Jacob Lauer, CFA, CAIA, has a diverse background in financial analysis and trading, currently serving as an Origination Trader at Cargill since November 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Analyst in Fixed Income at RBC from August 2018 to November 2020 and as an Investment Portfolio Analyst at Bremer Bank from October 2014 to August 2018. Jacob's career began with positions as a Financial Analyst II at Land O'Lakes, Inc. and as a Business Development and M&A Intern at Sunbelt Business Brokers and M&A Advisors. Notable early experience includes a Financial Operations Internship at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics from the University of St. Thomas, complemented by an honors program in Mathematics from St. Olaf College and a diploma from Northfield High School.
