Heath Hersey has over 18 years of experience in the food safety and quality assurance sectors, currently serving as a QC Supervisor at Cargill since August 2015. In this role, responsibilities include leading the sanitation department and overseeing food safety and quality compliance in various production processes including bean cleaning, roasting, and chocolate liquor production. Previously, Heath held various positions at ADM Cocoa from April 2006 to August 2015, including Quality Assurance Supervisor and Microbiologist. Earlier experience includes a position as a Microbiology Technician at Aerotek Scientific. Heath earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Marquette University from 2001 to 2005.
