Ali Minhas is an accomplished engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and aerospace. Currently serving as an Engineer I at Cargill since March 2020, Ali previously held roles at Bobcat Company as an Electrical Engineering Co-op, where responsibilities included designing electronic control systems and developing testing methodologies. Academic experience includes a senior project at the University of North Dakota, focused on sustainable water filtration devices and novel compositions for carbon sequestration. Ali also contributed as a Laboratory Research Assistant, developing bio-plastics and optimizing properties for biomedical applications. An undergraduate researcher, Ali applied machine learning and machine vision to human body analysis. Early in career achievements include leading a NASA rocket team, earning an honorary mention in a high-power rocket competition. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Mathematics minor from the University of North Dakota, along with an Associate of Science degree from Normandale Community College.
